My sister and i were looking for a Hong Kong style brunch and found this gem!

The prices were extremely reasonable as coffee or tea was included in every breakfast meal!

    Will absolutely come back!

We came here for a hot pot dinner and it turned out to be the worst quality hot pot I've had in town. The food was not fresh and sauce was plain.

I will not consider coming back again.

I just want to remind everybody that this place is open daily for breakfast despite the "Hot Pot" in their name. They're open as early as 7am and it's quite comfortable & peaceful in the morning; a complete turnaround from the steamy, rowdy atmosphere that comes to mind from late night hotpot.

Their breakfast prices are way more competitive compared to Marathon's across the plaza (see Menu pic). I mean their HK milk tea cannot compare with the award-winning Marathon, but it is still a very decent milk tea, strong & full. I mean, I'm able to finish it to the last sip without hesitation so it's acceptable in my books. Very staple HK breakfast items just like in a typical HK restaurant, except in a hotpot place lol. Hope this opens up another HK breaksfast option for you if you're ever in the area in the mornings.

My parents and I just LOVE this place! It is on Midland and South Shield Rd and it opens daily at 7 a.m. We have been here as a family since 2012!!

I love that it shares the space with Korea BBQ and has Chinese lanterns and birdcages on the left side's ceiling and Korean bowls on the right wall. Super comfy red couches and solid marble tables.

My parents would go there for breakfast every Saturday from 7:30-8 a.m. rain or shine for the past 6 years!! During the school year, I would join them between September to June for a consistently satisfying and filling breakfast right before I head off to teach Saturday school! Consistent routine of ours! My Dad is very strict with his diet, oatmeal in the morning with his proteins of eggs and one toast just to soak in the yolk and coffee on the side for only $5.99! My mom and I like to each of our own pork bone congee, but since I do not eat meat, my bone is usually given to my dad for him to nibble at. What we love about this place the most is that yyou can pair any item on their menu and make it an inexpensive combo!! So for me, I like to eat my congee with a Chow mein and my mom would always go for the fried noodles, which both come with plenty of onions, leek, and bean sprouts. Our sets are $7.49 each! 3 breakfast sets all under $25 after tips and tax!

Consistent comfort food at such a low price is why we love to come here each and every Saturday! Maybe I am not always there, because I like to sleep in, but my parents will be (most of the

They have lunch specials too, hot pot and Korean BBQ as well, but we are only here for their breakfast.

This is a very convenient location to get HK style tea and BBQ grilled food. We dropped by for a quick lunch on a Saturday May 12

Service and vibe are smooth and pleasant. A compliment to give is that the owner did hire politely smart employees, they response fast and meet the diners' attentions.

Ok. How about the food, lets gossip about the main issue:

We ordered a fish base noodle with fish slices and a fried chicken thigh. These choices come with drinks as HK style always offers.

It got me a little bit disappointed when the food came to the table.

Our fries chicken thigh is not fried , it is a soy sauce marinated type.  Our fish noodle comes with beef balls and beef organs and fish slices.
We inquired about fish noodle and how beef also includes in our order.  Then our server told us politely this is how chef cooked it in this way.

So we were not sure if we would return because it is quite a big flaw for me if they cannot keep up the actual order from the menu. For fish-only diners or food specific diners, this is a big confusion.
